Grand Jury Winner

"This scene is just captivating. Though the shutter time is quite long for such an action shot the sharpness of the bears is incredible, but the blurred splashing water also gives us a feel of the action going on. Being on eye level we feel drawn into the scene and also those colours are so pleasing to the eye." - Henrik Spranz

Runner Up

"This photo instantly caught my eye - it's not only as cute as it can be showing the apex predator of the Arctic - but also shows a lot more. You can see details like those large flat paws to make it easier to paddle and walk on ice, but also shows a playful side those beautiful animals." - Henrik Spranz

Runner Up

"You won't see such a scene a lot - and this makes it so special. To embed this scene into a landscape photo scale makes it even better. Photos like this make me want to go there and probably witness a moment like this." - Henrik Spranz
