Behind The Lens

Location

Taken from the drying creek bed probably 150ft from the base of the falls.

Time

This was taken in the middle of the day thankfully the trees saved me from direct sun exposure.

Lighting

Trying to battle mid day sun while taking a 25 second exposure can always be tricky. Luckily I was able to get the angle needed.

Equipment

Shot this on my Canon M50 on its base 15-45mm lens, using a Koncept aluminum tripod as well as a nd2000 filter to achieve this 25sec exposure at almost noon.

Inspiration

As a favorite spot to go and take long exposures it was nice to be here at the beginning of July and still have the ability to take the photos, as the creek is usually dry by the time of year this was taken.

Editing

Just cropped and boosted the colours on Google images on my 4XL

In my camera bag

Canon M50, with a 18-55mm and 15-45mm direct mount, the M mount adapter for a 55-300mm EoS lens, Lensball original, DJI Mini 2, Koncept invertible tripod.

Feedback

Make sure you have your tripod locked in, if you have a touch or wireless shutter options it can help avoid more motion blur.
