Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the rocks of Departure Bay at low tide on Christmas Eve morning of 2020.

Time

Sunrise as it is just peaking its head up over the strait between Vancouver Island and mainland Vancouver

Lighting

Just the natural sunlight.

Equipment

I set up my lensball on rocks pulled from the beach to hold the lens ball up for probably one of my favorite images.

Inspiration

While walking on the beach at low tide i saw the perfect opening to take this shot.

Editing

Using luminar I punched up the colours to make this really shine.

In my camera bag

Shot with a Canon SL2, my lens ball and Koncept tripod

Feedback
