This photo was taken at Durham Cathedral, Durham City, in the North East of England

This photo was taken on a clear winter afternoon

Lighting

I wanted the cathedral to look as ominous as it felt, looming over me as I walked past. The sun was behind so made it look more menacing

Equipment

I used the camera on my phone for this as I had just packed my Cannon away!

Inspiration

I absolutely love Durham City and its medieval history. I will never tired of it's beauty.

Editing

I turned the image black and white to portray how it made me feel and bring out the detail in the architecture
