Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8Inspiration
I liked the contrast between the roundness of the arch, and the straight lines of the old buildings. And who can resist a nice reflection?Editing
The usual in Lightroom: contrast, saturation, cropping, tonality, sharpness. In my camera bag
Depends on what I am doing on that day. It's usually my Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, Canon 50mm f/1.4, and Canon 17-40mm f/4L. My favorite lens (Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L) is a tad on the heavy side, and sometimes it has to stay at home. There's also an assortment of spare batteries and memory cards, a spare UV / Polarizer filter, an ND filter I never use, some lens tissues, a pocket knife and a mag lite.Feedback
Go back to your familiar places, and look at them like a visitor who's there for the first time. Look at the lines, curves, shadows, and colors. Try to put aside all the preconceived visuals in your photographic brain.
