Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean, on the left is the Atlantic Ocean and on the right is the Caribbean, far off in the distance is a volcano.

Time

Photo was taken at around 12 noon, as you can see it was a beautiful day, beautiful island.

Lighting

I wanted the viewer to experience the depth of this photo so I used available light a Nikon D300 and took the photo with a Nikon 70 to 200 mm lens at F10 1/400 of a second ISO 200

Equipment

I used a Nikon D300 Nikon 70-200 mm lens and a Polarized filter.

Inspiration

The moment, the grandeur of the island and the view of two separate bodies of water.

Editing

I used Photoshop for cropping and Topaz Labs AI Sharpen to stabilize the photo and AI clear to boost the clarity a little but not too much.

In my camera bag

I have a small carry on suitcase type for camera equip. on wheels which allows for two camera body's, four lens from 10mm to 600mm with a teleconverter, flash, batteries, gray card, plastic garbage bag in case of rain, filters, chargers,mono pod and tripod, memory cards and laptop.
