Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo when on a photo trip to Iceland. It was an early morning and we had driven for three hours to get to the ice covered bay before a glacier to get a few pics. The canoe guy nicely added to the atmosphere

Time

early morning (roughly 6 o'clock) but at those latitudes it may already seem like daytime :)

Lighting

There was nothing specific about the lighting. It was overcast so the light was neutral and did not produce shades

Equipment

Canon 5dm3, canon 70-200, 2.8

Inspiration

The juxtaposition of a tiny human and vast nature has always attracted me. Here was exactly that moment

Editing

Minimum post processing: contrast, WB, clarity.

In my camera bag

A camera and three lenses to cover the range from 16 to 200 mm
