Behind The Lens

Location

The picture was taken in summer in Iceland. Skógafoss is a popular destination at the South Coast, close to Skógar.

Time

Daytime, about 11.00, but rather cloudy so it didn't tell on the picture much

Lighting

Cloudy sky ensured the light was soft and didn't give much shade

Equipment

Canon 5dm4, Canon lense 70-200-2,8

Inspiration

The backdrop of waterfalls - unending shower - as if curtains reminding of the stage in theatre just asked for a performer.

Editing

Not much. Just contrast which was lacking in the original shot.

Canon 5dm4, 28-70, 16-35, 70-200 (all 2,8)

Feedback

I always look for a good natural backdrop and then think what sort of performance it would welcome. Sure, often times there should not be such a thing at all, then it stays what it is - a beautiful landscape ))
