Behind The Lens

Location

Northern Connecticut

Time

It was taken at sunset

Lighting

I was sitting on the grass & looking at the fishing pole. The lighting was perfect & I thought "what a nice shot."

Equipment

I used my Nikon D90

Inspiration

It was warm & so peaceful. No noise from cars or people. From where I was sitting, I knew it would be a really nice image.

Editing

I put the SD card into my laptop and uploaded the images. I'm not really good with editing and I'm not sure which app I used. I cropped the sky down a bit and played with the sharpness, contrast, & saturation.

In my camera bag

I am currently looking for a new camera. I will most likely stick with Nikon. I'd love to pick up a Leica but I'm not that financially fortunate.

Feedback

Shoot in RAW and more importantly you need to have a good eye. You can have the best equipment but, if you don't have a good eye, it will be a struggle.
