Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on the Coast of South Africa near Port Elizabeth on the Indian Ocean side.

Time

The photo was taken at about 9am at night.

Lighting

Slow exposure to capture algal blooms and star trails. People walking with touch lights on the beach to experience the blue algal blooms in the ocean of the coast of Port Elizabeth

Equipment

I used a tripod for the long exposure and my Canon 7D

Inspiration

The very bright toxic algal blooms that light up the ocean was a first on our coast and it draw big crows of people so that was the inspiration.

Editing

I do post - processing with Photoshop

In my camera bag

I use Canon and Sigma equipment and in this case I used a Manfrotto tri-pot for the super shot!

Feedback
