Never knew calla lilies grew in Oregon—especially on the beach like this. Spotted from a distance, I climbed up the hillside to these monster-sized flowers. Being that it was well after sunrise, thinking the "right" conditions had passed, with the sun breaking over the hillside I took around 20 handheld shots, covering all angles. I was inches from the two large lilies. Later, I was able to stitch together 3 of the shots. Turns out I ended up liking the comp much more than I did when I was up there scouting. Didn't notice the "Wizard Hat" seastack dead center. Wish I was able to stay for the sunset on this one, but am happy with what I came away with, at the time I did.
