A nice view of the Scottish Highlands from the water. The most important element in this photo is the almost invisible mountain peak at the top of the creek bed. You might improve this photo by cropping out the right 1/3 of the scene (up to the trees), and a sliver of the scene on the left, converitng it into a vertical centered on the house, the creek, and the mountain peak looming above.

Every time I drive past this cottage, I wish it was mine. A beautiful location, and a nice shot of the autumn colors.

This pic was clicked from the car window, on our trip to Glen coe, Highlands, Scotland. Autumn 2014Time
It was at 11 am.Lighting
It was all cloudy as usual for the Scotland. But, that really helped, because clouds arrested the harsh lights.Equipment
This was clicked using Nikon D5300 and kit lens 18-55mm. No flash used. and It's a hand held click from the car window.Inspiration
During our stay in UK, we had planned for Autumn break in Scotland..That day we had planned to visit Ben Nevis.. The weather was totally unexpected. Stormy, rainy , windy, foggy so we didn't stop over there. I had seen this cottage's pic on the net before..may be it was on the back of my mind...but I never thought I might see it...so the moment I saw ..I just clicked from the moving car... just one click of this beautiful place. I was not hoping much but fortunately got clicked correctly. This one click, one moment is truly unforgettable for me. :)Editing
A little bit of straightening was required as it was clicked from a moving car. Adjusted basic settings like saturation and light using PSE 9. I think, it can be further improved using better tools. In my camera bag
Then, I just had a new camera and it's kit lens. Nikon D5300 and 18-55 mm lens. A cleaning cloth, spare card and a mono pod.Feedback
Keep Clicking !! Keep Experimenting !! Nature is beautiful in all it's form...Enjoy it. :)
