Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at rooftop garden of my house, which has many seasonal flowering plants. I am an ophthalmologist by profession and photographer by hobby. Whatever time I get after curing eyes of sufferers, I try to see through my camera.

Time

Photo was taken in the morning after sunrise at 7 am. In rainy season all kind o colorfull flowers blooms and give opportunity to appreciate such unparalleled beauty of nature.

Lighting

Yes, morning glow of sun is very soothing and it give such subtle shading to flowers, which can't be missed. Though angle of light is important.

Equipment

This photo was taken with iPhone 5s without any accessory.

Inspiration

Nothing but pure colours of nature....

Editing

Yes, I wanted to create a fluidic color experience like a pond of color and shades. To create it I processed the image in Photoshop cc with blending technique.

In my camera bag

I have Nikon D7100 dslr, Nikon 50 mm/1.4, tamaron 90 mm/2.8 macro and 18-270 zoom lenses, Olloclip 3-lense system for iPhone 5s.

Feedback

Flower photography is wonderful during or just after rainy season, and sunrise or sunset time gives best results.
