A wonderful photograph but i don'y understand the RAW contest rules? I always shoot in large RAW and my 5D Mk lll images need to pass through lightroom to look like this?

Location
This photo is taken in Gerlache Strait at the Antarctic PeninsulaTime
The picture is taken 14-Dec-2015; around 10.00PM. During desember there is good light until around 2.00AM and the sun hardly set.Lighting
This is probably one of the best penguins shots i got so far, and my own favorite.Equipment
This photo is shot with a Nikon D4s and the lens used is; nikkor 80-400G lens. f/7.1, ISO: 100 Exposure: 1/400Inspiration
I was out to shot penguins and ice shapesEditing
I used "Capture One" i shot only RAW, basically so didn't this image need much PP. Added a little bit contrast and sharpnessIn my camera bag
The first lens i always pack for trip like this is the Nikkor 80-400G, it's not too heavy and have enough reach for shooting penguins, and sharp enough below 300mm. I shot mostly animal life. But i never leave without my sigma 35 f/1.4 Art, but i dont shot to much landscape. But when i do i like use the sigma 35mm.Feedback
The best time to take a trip to the Antarctic Peninsula is in December, the light can be amazing. But the weather change fast.
