Location
it's probably more photographed mountain in WA then greatest mt. Rainier , mt.Shuksan ...Time
there were a few more people waiting for a perfect sunset shot , but it was too cloudy and at the end all left . i had a plan to stay over the night and possibly shoot stars , and then the darkness took over sky cleared ; i took about five shots before it became completely dark , later on clouds took the sky over again.Lighting
no twilight was visible because of the clouds , but just before complete darkness there was a beautiful calm clear still ..Equipment
ii am switching to digital and really like Fuji X-T1 , still have my favorite Pentax 67II . my favorite tripod Slik 824 CF II and Gitzo 1780QR ball head , so simple and quick to use .Inspiration
the place , and not only this one . mt. Baker and all around it is my favorite place just to be there , always staying over night or two .Editing
cause i was slide film ( velvia ) user ; just a minor " iphoto " contrast or so ... you have it or you delete , like a slide film has only -+/- 1 stop.In my camera bag
i cary my old Pentax 67II with 3 lenses in separate bag , and this year Fuji XT-1 and 3 lenses has own bag , as a day walk around or scouting i have Fuji X30 , just in case ...Feedback
like many many photographers do it for the PATION and joy rather to profit , enjoy the place light cold breeze ... stay longer.
