Location
This photo was taken not far from my home in Trelleborg Sweden.Time
It was around 10 pm in July and it was sunny.Lighting
During this shot I used the in-camera flash on the 7D Mark IIEquipment
Canon EOS 7D Mark II with the Canon EF 100mm f/2,8L Macro IS USM HandheldInspiration
This morning I was out to take shots of water droplets and this fly just happened to sit there still warming itself after the night I guess which made it possible for me to get so close.Editing
I did some contrast changes and converted it to black and white. After playing some with editing my goal was to make it look almost like a car. I know this sounds strange but with the lines and reflection from the flash and the angle the shot was taken in I thought it whould be possible to get that look.In my camera bag
I usually only have my Canon 7DMII, Canon EF100-400 f/4,5-5,6L IS II USM, Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 Distagon T* and a Fuji X100t.Feedback
I'm pretty novice with photography and still don't properly now how to expose and compose but I guess the bets tips I can share is have fun and when you think that the shot isn't worth taking it usually is.
