Location
i took this picture on the way to the top of "aiguille du tour" above Chamonix in the french alps.Time
the shot was taken in the mid morning on the way down from the summit.Lighting
the sun still rising low above the horizon and the shot taken on the east directions, the layers of the swiss mountains created a nice background contrasting with the snow...the typical fog that appear on the first hours of the day was still covering the swiss valley of "le rhone"Equipment
small and compact superzoom from canon (sx700h), very useful for such a context, no flash, no tripodInspiration
i just found the composition perfect at this time during the way down... the alpinist walking up, the lines from the path following the ridge of the glacier, the curved valley coverd by mist and surrounded by the bernese alps on the far endEditing
noIn my camera bag
my pocket camera, two extra battery and a solar panel for long trip... nothing more... light and compactFeedback
