Location
The photo is taken in the western parts of Norway, in the city of Stavanger.Time
The picture was taken about 19:00 (7.00PM).Lighting
It's in the magic hour of photography. In this case i shoot the image 20 minutes after sunset on a warm summer evening with really deep blue skies.Equipment
I used a Nikon D800, Nikkor 24-70mm, Manfrotto tripod, a 10 stop ND-filter and a wireless camera trigger. It's a simple setup for this picture.Inspiration
This old shed is a fairly known landmark in my region. So i thought i'll take the picture in a different way. It's a long exposure, round about 82 secs. My inspiration for image was to try to make it better than before, and in a way never seen before.Editing
In the post-processing i used Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS6. No external filters, however i did convert the photo into LAB color in PS to make the colors pop a little more. That's it!In my camera bag
I travel heavy!! I have 2 camera systems; Nikon & Fujifilm. On the Nikon side i have; D800, Nikkor 14-24mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm and a Sigma 150mm macro + 3 x SB-900 speedlights. On the Fuji side; X-T1, Fujinon XF 27mm, XF 56mm f/1.2 and XF 50-140mm WR. I don't do backpacking so i do not care about the weight of my bags. :)Feedback
