Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken during a trip to Zermat in winter, during a gray and foggy day.

Time

It was afternoon and the daylight was now diminishing to give way to the darkness of the evening.

Lighting

The light of the gray winter afternoon was a great contrast to the lights of the train's headlights

Equipment

the photo was taken with a Canon Eos 5D mark I and a Canon 24 - 105 lens

Inspiration

the inspiration to take this photo came from the beauty of the almost ghostly image of the train appearing through the fog in an environment muffled by snow.

Editing

I used filters and masks to accentuate the "spectrality" of the image

In my camera bag

Currently my equipment consists of a Canon Eos 5D Mark II and a Canon 24 - 105 lens.

Feedback

Be careful and always be ready to seize the moment. The stimulus to take the photo may be due to a climatic situation or a particular light that transforms a normal situation into something exceptional.
