Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on a gray and rainy day during a walk in a beautiful village a few kilometers from Verona

Time

It was 17.00, the sky was already gray and the light was going down

Lighting

the gray color of the sky was just what I was looking for to be able to give a dramatic aspect to the image in post-production.

Equipment

Unfortunately on this occasion I had left my Canon Eos 5D Mark ii camera at home because it was raining. I then used my Oppo Reno phone as I couldn't miss this shot.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the gray and somewhat dramatic light of the day and the beauties that this village offers

Editing

As I have already indicated on other occasions, all my photos are subjected to post-production. My photo is a deliberate transformation of a simple shot into an artistic image. I use various post-production programs, textures, filters and brushes

In my camera bag

Normally I always have my Canon Eos 5D Mark ii with the Canon 24 - 105 lens. On a few occasions I happened to use, as in this case, my Oppo Reno phone

Feedback

Surely Italy offers many small villages with houses, palaces and historic bridges. You always have to be ready to see the right angle to create a good picture even with a simple old bridge over a river running through a small village.
