Location
This image was captured when I was visiting the area around Bulbarrow Hill, about five miles from a place called Blandford Forun in Dorset, England, I find that every photo captured can be a new learning process, so I guess we will never stop learning.Time
The image was taken in Spring at around 2:30 in the afternoonLighting
I wanted to use the contrast of blue's and greens, also I tried my best to utilise as much natural light as I could through the treesEquipment
I used an Olympus E-30 digital camera, hand held, and a 14-42mm lensInspiration
The love of nature as she is the greatest artistEditing
Yes, just a slight touch in the program PicasaIn my camera bag
I only carry a small amount of equipment, usually my camera, macro lens, 14-42 mm lens, 80-300 mm lens, 600 mm lens, an 2x adapter and sometimes, pending on what types of images I am after I will also carry my tripod/monopod.Feedback
The time of day matters a lot, especially when it comes to getting the right light and shadow, I love to capture sunrises and sunsets so early morning and late afternoon are my favorite times, landscapes and buildings are usually captured during the day. I find that doing photography is like going fishing, pick the right time of day and be very patient, caution - may involve a lot of walking and can be very addictive
