This is probably one of my favorite photos that I took during my walk this afternoon. There were many views like this down the trail, but this was the only time there were no interruptions from people. Found it absolutely peaceful.

My family and I went for a walk along a trail we had never walked down before. There was this amazing bridge only a few feet into the trail, but it looked like it was deep in the forest. Just looked so magical and perfect.Time
It was an awesome day with family. We would always get together as often as possible. This day we were all up early so we could meet up with my brothers and their families by lunch time (12:30pm). Went for a nice walk and just enjoyed the time together.Lighting
The lighting was a little difficult. I remember there being a lot of light coming in front the tree tops but not coming from ground level. I think that’s what made the photo feel so magical and mysterious though.Equipment
If I remember correctly, I used a canon rebel xs, but can’t quite remember what lens. This was when my photography just started happening.Inspiration
A quiet walk with family, a beautiful forest, and a nice bridge. What else do you need? It was just a perfect spot to snap a photo.Editing
I did a little post-processing. Can’t fully remember what I did, as my editing style was always changing back then. However I know I was big into those contract sliders. In my camera bag
I always have my canon rebel t3, and a few staple lenses (50mm) being one of them.Feedback
Make sure you’re taking photos of everything and anything you think looks cool, beautiful, mysterious, etc. You never know how that image is going to translate when you up load it to your computer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so don’t miss out on a photo just because you think it isn’t “worthy”.
