Behind The Lens
Location
This shot was taken in a small alley beside my house. An Orbweaver spider had made a home between two gate posts, and her web looked beautiful after a brief shower.Time
It was taken early afternoon. It had just darkened briefly to allow a rain shower, before the sun came back out.Lighting
The shot was taken in natural light. The sun had just reappeared after a shower and seemed to strike the web perfectly.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 600d, using a 105mm 2.8f Sigma macro lensInspiration
My new macro lens had opened up a new world of photography for me. Spiders and their webs in particular had become my favourite things to shoot.Editing
Cropping and curve changes were all made in Photoshop. In my camera bag
Now using Fuji XT10Feedback
When shooting macro use a tripod!
