Location
I shot this photo from my driveway looking into the woods beside my house.Time
This was shot early in the morning right after the sun rose. The sunlight was just beginning to filter through the trees.Lighting
I thought the lighting was perfect in the way that the sun illuminated the doe.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon T3i and the Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro USM. I chose that lens because it was the best piece of glass I had at the time.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo because of the way the sunlight perfectly illuminated the doe.Editing
I was fairly new to photography and post processing when I took this so not much was involved. I converted it to sepia because I felt it added an earthy feel to it.In my camera bag
I now carry a Canon 6D and an assortment of Canon lenses to include the 50mm 1.4 USM, 85mm 1.8 USM, 70-200mm 2.8L IS II USM, 100mm 2.8 Macro USM, 135mm 2.0L USM. I also have a Tamron 24-70 2.8 Di VC.Feedback
Honestly, this shot was a matter of being in the right place at the right time under the right conditions. My advice would be to look for the light. The direction of the light and the way it fell on the subject is what compelled me to take this shot.
