Wonderful macro work again but it's the atmospheric lighting, which this one stand out from the rest, top choice.

Wow you got close to this one. Just look at the glare in its eyes. Very brave. Great capture.

Location
This photo was taken in my garden. I was moving some old bits of wood about when this brute appeared. My two young sons were with me and the 8 year old jumped up and down screaming and ran in the house. My 5 year old tried to pick it up. He ran off aswell when the spider moved. It was quick, quick, quick. I knocked it off a piece of wood and that's when it fell in the grass. I couldn't resist the temptation to get a few shots.Time
It was mid afternoon and very warm and dry.Lighting
The lighting was just natural light but I tried to get the sun behind me which meant a bit of gentle prodding of the spider to get it into a better position.Equipment
I used my Fuji HS10 bridge camera and a Raynox dcr250 macro lens.Inspiration
The love of insects inspired me for this shot and my love of the mini world. I don't like it when summer ends because most of the insects vanish too.Editing
The only post-processing I did was a some slight exposure adjustment and a bit of cropping. In my camera bag
The only equipment I have at present is my HS10, the Raynox lens, some filters and a fish eye lens.Feedback
Don't be scared of spiders, just show the a bit of respect. Get down low if you can, there's so mush happening below knee level.
