Location
I took this photo in Weatherly, PA. I was visiting my brother and found this butterfly on the side of the house.Time
It was taking during the late afternoon getting closer to dusk.Lighting
I only used the natural daylight.Equipment
I was using a Kodak Z712 digital camera with zoom. No tripod, flash, or filters were used.Inspiration
I was just starting out getting really serious about photography and this was the first photo I ever attempted of a butterfly. I love butterflies and used to collect them when I was kid so right away this one caught my eye.Editing
I did a little bit of cropping. In my camera bag
In my camera bag you will find 2 camera bodies, a Nikon D3100 and Nikon D3200. You will also find 2 Nikkor lenses a 18-55mm and a 55-200mm, a variety of filters, batteries and chargers, tripod, lens hood, etc.Feedback
Patience! When you are photographing anything patience is one main thing you need to have, especially with a subject like a butterfly. You need to be quiet and still and wait for the right moment to shoot. Be very observant of your surroundings you never know what you may came across that is photo worthy.
