Love the mood !

I just love this picture, love the light and the overall feeling. The old iron gate around the headstone, street signs in the foreground and of course the old bench were you sit and you would have your back to the head stone. I kinda get an erie feeling from this photograph. Great shot!

Location

We were having a group dog walking session at Fewston Reservoir in North Yorkshire, England, a beautiful part of the country and I just stumbled across this photo opportunity.

Time

This was taken in February just before midday

Lighting

It was a beautiful sunny day, although this area was slightly shaded.

Equipment

Nikon D3200. F/5 1/500 sec exposure ISO-2200 No Flash or tripod used

Inspiration

It appeared so atmospheric and unusual.

Editing

I used photoshop and lightroom to enhance the colours to create an even better atmosphere.

In my camera bag

I now have a Nikon D7100, AF-S Nikon 18 - 105mm lens, Tamron AF 18 - 250mm lens, monopod, and tripod

Feedback

Any opportunity to take a shot that is unusual. I see the world through photographic eyes since taking up photography, I notice so much more beauty then I ever did before.
