Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at Gallup Park, Ann Arbor, MI one winter. I wasn't looking to take any wildlife shots but if you keep your eyes and your mind open you can sometimes find a good unexpected shot or two.

Time

It was probably taken around 10AM

Lighting

All natural lighting.

Equipment

Canon T3i and EFS 18-135mm lens. Hand held.

Inspiration

I was just walking along and saw him sitting there, getting blown about by the wind. It kind of emphasized the harshness winter to me and I was able to get one shot in before he ran off.

Editing

Only PP was in LR. Just a little adjustment to whites, blacks, highlights, shadows, contrast and a touch of sharpening.

In my camera bag

T3i, EF-100mm Macro, EFS-18-135mm, CPL and ND filters, Manfroto Pixi, spare battery, spare memory card, remote, travel size spray bottle.
