This bridal shoot was done for some newly weds who had just lost their home. They only just made it out of the burning house before the roof collapsed. The shoot was in the burnt out wreckage of their house. They lost all their photos from their wedding and asked me to shoot a new wedding album, they wanted it to feature their brush with death.

Location
This photo was taken in a burnt down house. The house actually belonged to the bride in the picture, she and her husband narrowly escaped the inferno with only the clothes on their back. They lost their wedding pictures, and decided to do a new wedding shoot in the house about a month later.Time
The shots where done at about mid morningLighting
I used a reflector to bounce sunlight on the modelEquipment

The idea behind the shoot was a phoenix rising out of the ashes of their burnt home, stronger than beforeEditing
I had to do some burn and dodge to get detail in the dressIn my camera bag
