Location

I took this at my sister's house in Reedsport, Oregon

Time

Sometime in the afternoon.

Lighting

It was strictly a combo of indoor lighting and filtered sunlight from the livingroom windows.

Equipment

Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi with basic kit lens, handheld and no flash. Just zoomed in on her eyes and let the lens auto-focus.

Inspiration

The light on her iridescent eyes. The patterns in the iris. The surrounding black and colors of her fur.

Editing

Upped contrast and adjusted shadows/highlights.

In my camera bag

I carry a bag with 3 cameras (2 A57 bodies, 1 18-200mm lens, 1 10-20mm lens, and 1 Canon Powershot SX50) along with spare batteries, lens cloth, extra memory cards, and my readers!
