Behind The Lens

Location

Train Tracks by my house.

Time

afternoon cloudy fall day

Lighting

natural lighting is the way i roll in almost all my images.

Equipment

I used my first ever camera sony a55 camera and i think 55-200mm lens

Inspiration

My cat and I always crossed these train tracks to visit the park together that is right next to the tracks. I let him run around without a leash with my supervision in the closed off area. While passing one day by the tracks the image popped in my head and I attempted to capture it. My cat always follows me so I knew I had to snap quick. Hardly any time to set up the shot. As you see in the photo his paw is about to move to come to me, he is not a dog and sit and stay didn't work very well lolll. I got lucky to get a great shot regardless.

Editing

I thought it would look great on black and white as my cat is black and stands out well against the back ground. I maybe cropped a little. I hardly do much work on my images as I take the time to set up the vision I am looking for.

In my camera bag

I always have a telephoto lens and a cloth to clean the lens and extra memory card and battery
