Location
I found this location only a few dozen meters beside a country road beside a tiny creek in early springTime
Although it's nearly noon, the light is warm and soft because the sun does not climb so high so early in spring and the surrounding trees are covering the scene.Lighting

It's taken with an 85mm 1.8 prime lens attached to my full-frame DSLR. No flash, no reflector.Inspiration
My model came up with the idea for an elvish-like dress and sewed it, while I was looking for a proper location. When arriving on location, I saw the intimacy of that small flower-covered green field surrounded by dense standing trees.Editing
As usual, only balancing lights and darks a bit and a little post-sharpening.In my camera bag
The equipment in my bag depends on the purpose and the goal. When doing wildlife it's much different than when I'm going to do a portrait session. In general, I use a full-frame body, as well as an APS-C body, and the range of lenses reaches from fish-eye to 800mm. I own a couple of prime lenses for portrait and wedding shootings and some great zoom lenses for doing landscape and wildlife photography.Feedback
Use the opportunity. A nice location can be just around the corner. Use, what you have. You don't need fancy gear. But, have your goal in your head. Be prepared!
