Location
I took this photograph at an abandoned theatre in the middle of a forest at La Plata's city outsides, Argentina.Time
We went there at the afternoon, at the precisely moment when the sun turns completely orange because I wanted this warm light to make this photo session.Lighting
Completely natural light. There isnt any artificial lighting.Equipment
Rebel T3i, Sigma Art 30mm f. 1.4Inspiration
This was my second time at this theatre. A great argentinian friend insist me to show me what he described as the perfect location for a photograph session, and he didn't lie. The place was perfect, and the years that passed only made a gorgeous texture everywhere I see. The chairs in the photograph are a perfect example.Editing
I managed the clarity a bit. Also lights, shadows, curves, and temperature to express this idea of an a gnawed image wich comes from another time, but actually shot some months ago.In my camera bag
Always: Lens: Sigma Art 1.4, 30mm. Camera: Canon Rebel T3i. Extra battery pack. Almost always Lens: standar teleobjetive Canon 75-300 standar angular Canon 18-55 Sometimes: A little flash Canon Speedlite 320 EX. A little tripod from a local trademark.Feedback
Always have the position of the sun in your mind because from this position will come the color temperature you need. Also, try to know how long the sunrise and the sunset last in the specific place where you are, at the specific season of the year, last. Could be 5 minutes or 2 hours, and that make a difference.
