At a park in California

It was late afternoon. Probably 5:30 pm.

Lighting

Thank goodness dad was doing this under the trees so I didn't have to worry about the California harsh sunlight.

Equipment

Canon 5dsr Les - Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS II

Inspiration

I was doing a maternity photoshoot and noticed that dad was entertaining their first child by tossing her in the air. I'm an action photographer so this was something right up my alley. I stopped taking pictures of Mom and snagged about 5 quick shots of Dad. What a lovely family this is.

Editing

I corrected the exposure in Lightroom. This was happening under some heavy shade and I didn't have time to adjust the ISO on my camera. I use Lightroom to adjust the white balance and add vibrancy. Moving it over to Photoshop to do some magic. Softening the picture and using some levels/curves. I can't remember what was adjusted I do so many.
