Location
My husband and I walk in the evenings with hopes of seeing deer or other wildlife. This particular walk took us to the edge of the field to enjoy this sunset. We seem to find something photogenic on every walk.Time
Sunset or sunrise walks always offer us natural beauty at both ends of the day. This particular sunset was actually reflecting off and around an encroaching storm.Lighting
The light of this sunset was causing an ever so slight glowing outline of my husband appreciating the beauty. I am very happy to have captured this scene.Equipment
The Nikon Coolpix B600 I am using now is great but I sure miss my Nikon Coolpix L320 that I used to take this picture. I think the photos I took with it were just a smidgeon better than the current pics with the B600. The Coolpix L320 gave me thousands of great shots before it's stabilizer broke.Inspiration
I am always inspired with natures beauty reflecting things in my life. This picture was pure coincidence and I am thankful.Editing
I don't think there was any post processing done on this. Mostly, because I don't know how to do much more that point & shoot and maybe a little tweeking with the brightness if needed. In my camera bag
My bag is always at the door next to my purse. Rarely do I ever leave home without it. You will find a fresh charged battery, a cleaning tool and my camera. I am a minimalist, point n shoot photographer.Feedback
The more photos I took the more it became obvious that when I avoided my fear and took a shot into the light something amazing happened. Take the shot always, it is digital and far easier to delete the less than perfect shots.
