Nice, capturing people without one or two people dominating the photo is not easy, smart use of the puddle, keeps people at a good distance while giving that reflection, brilliant.

Location
I took this photo in Rome on a October evening with a lot of showers after a strenuous day walking through the eternal city.Time
We just came from the Castel St. Angelo bound for the hostel and wanted to pass St. Peter for the last time of the days. The sun was just set, the perfect time for make good pictures.Lighting
It was the beginning of the blue hour, the lights of the City were just lighted and you can see the last rays of the sun diminishing. This is a natural mix of different lightings. Blue colors of the beginning night, warm colors of the sunset and the warm colors of the artificial light of the City. That makes the picture more interesting.Equipment
I used my Sony alpha 7ii. Because I had to carry my bag the long day through Rome I did not carry a Tripod with me. This was a disadvantage for such a photo. So I had to take this photo by hand and had to increase the ISO up to 6400.Inspiration
I saw the light, I saw crowds of people and could not imagine to take a photo in this situation til I saw the reflections in the puddle. It was not easy to wait some people going out of the lens, to find the right angle and keep my knees out of the puddle. But finally it works.Editing
Because of ISO 6400 I had to decrease the noise, reduce the lights of the lanterns and made some corrections of the black and white tones, cropped the image the right way and ready the picture was.In my camera bag
I usually use a Sony alpha 7ii, a 24-70 mm lens and a 100-400 mm lens. These are my main lenses, also I have a 90 mm macro lens and a 14 mm wide angle lens. But I always carry the both first ones with me. I depends on the situation, whether I'm going by car or by bicycle or by feet. It´s not so imported to carry a lot of equipment with me, vital ist the light, the composition and that you are on the right place to the right time. And that is mostly in the morning or in the evening.Feedback
Be aware of paddles, of reflections, of the light, try different angles, go to your knees or stretch your arms out and take photographs and discuss the photographs with friends and be not afraid of critics. This is the only way to get better. That's what I'm trying to do, do get better...
