Thank you James! I really appreciate everyone who voted for this photo! I think peoples choice is the absolute best, that means, to me anyway, that I have achieved my goal of making others feel what I did when I took the photo!

Location
I took this photo in an old long abandoned house I found in NW Iowa.Time
It was in the winter, just as the sun was setting so there was all kinds of great light!Lighting
If you are going to shoot an interior of an old building it seems to work better if you do it when the sun is coming up or going down. There are always nice streaks of light to be found then!Equipment
Nothing too special, just my Nikon D3200 and the kit lens that came with it! It was a hand held shot.Inspiration
I love exploring old structures, I wonder about the people who used to live there. This piano was the icing on the cake and the light seemed to point me toward it!Editing
I did some very basic processing in LR. That was about it. Nothing special. In my camera bag
At this point I do not have lots of fancy equipment and it's all in my bag! My Nikon D3200, the 2 kit lens that came with it, a prime lens and my favorite lens, the Tokina wide angle! I have a 3 stop and 6 stop ND filter and a wireless remote. Besides my Vanguard tripod, thats it.Feedback
I photograph alot of abandoned subjects. Sometimes I have permission, many times I do not. You don't have time to set up a shot, use your tripod and all that. It's hand held, it's quick, and many times scary. You have to "see" the shot quickly and know what settings to use without really thinking about it!
