Location
I shoot this photo in a bamboo forest in a small province in the North-Eastern part of Thailand.Time
I shot this in the late afternoon. Around 4 p.m.Lighting
I just use the natural light.Equipment
This was shot on Canon 5D mk III with 70-200 2.8 L II lens.Inspiration
I was inspired by the simplicity of the life in the rural area. Children live so close to the nature. They play with other children in the woods after school- no smartphones, no tables, no vdo games. Their lifestyle is quite a contrast to the city kids.Editing
I did a basic adjusting in this photo- adjusting contrast, and white balance. In my camera bag
Canon 5D mk III. 24-70 2.8 L II 16-35 F4 L 100 2.8 L Extra Batteries, ND filters, remote shutter, tripod, lens cleaning paper.Feedback
When taking photo of children, you have to work fast to capture the emotion as children tend to lose concentration quickly. Mood and emotion is another important thing when it comes to children portraiture. Let them play and be happy so they will be at their best mood, don't be so directive about how they pose or act during the shoot.
