Behind The Lens

Location

One of the most pituresque and awesome Places in Scotland, Isle of Skye.

Time

3 p.m.

Lighting

Only available Light.

Equipment

Nikon D810 and Nikkor 14-24, 2.8. Picture was taken handheld.

Inspiration

A really heavy Storm was rolling up but i wanted this Picture so badly that i ignored it and as a Consequence i got really (REALLY!) wet while the Descent. Luckily a Women with a red Jacket came along and showed the unbelieveable and massive Size of this Rock Formation.

Editing

Lens Correction, D&B and Saturation.

In my camera bag

It depends on what i want to shoot. But always my two Nikon D810, the Holy Trinity, the Fisheye 10,5, 2.8, a Manfrotto Carbon Fibre Tripod, Shutter Releases, Haida Filters and Stuff for Cleaning.

Feedback

I can't give some advice and never assume to give tips because i'm only a Shutterbug. But if i have to: Go out and try everything you can imagine and dream of. Enjoy the Moment of Shooting, be proud of what you've photographed and good Pictures are not a matter of high-quality Equipment.
