Location
This was taken on my first ever trip to Iceland last year in September.Time
This was taken an early morning. Why i did that was because it's a veryvery crowded place during the day, so i had to wake up early to get there before everyone else.Lighting
Ever since i started photography i have dreamed about visiting this place, i have seen so many beautiful photos from there. But i never thought i would be so happy that i am with the photographs i got from there.Equipment
For this photo i used my Nikon D800, Nikon 16-35 f/4 lens, Manfrotto tripod and a 10stop ND filter.Inspiration
As i said before, this location has always been in my head as long as i can remember. So a lot of others talented photographers have inspired me because of their photographs of this waterfall.Editing
Yes i did, as i always do i increased the Shadows and decreased the hightlights. And some basic stuff such as correcting the White Balance and adding some contrast by adjusting the "Whites" and "Blacks" in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Since i mostly shoot landscape, i have to carry a Wide angle lens together with my DSLR. Something very important i always carry is some spare batteries, especially when i go to cold locations since the batteries dies much quicker when it's cold outside.Feedback
If you go to a very famous and crowded place like this i would recommend you to be creative and find something unique.. So you don't end up with a photo that looks like 1000th others. In my case i was actually planning on finding a different composition, but what makes this shot unique are the sheeps on the mountain.
