Behind The Lens

Location

This photo of Niagara Fall was taken at Ontario City, Canada.

Time

I took this shot around 9AM.

Lighting

It was very cold and overcast morning. Not the ideal lighting,but being in a ice tunnel with the light coming from the reflection of the water and snow from the outside made a decent photo moment.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon PowerShot.

Inspiration

Just being at Niagara Falls is enough to inspire any photographer. But being there when the area is almost frozen over is awe-inspiring.

Editing

I just took some blue out to show more detail.

In my camera bag

Normally I carry 3 cameras, one with telephoto len, one with wide angle lens and a pocket camera.

Feedback

If you're going to shoot in sub-zero weather make sure you keep your camera ready for those conditions. All cameras are different, so know what temperature is optimal your's. It sucks when the motor of your camera freezes.
