Staged or Candid?
The reason I ask, is for the number of rings on her left hand; everywhere else other than where an engagement/wedding ring would rest. To me, this portrays as a public unspoken reveal, of her desire for committed relationship.
Thx for capturing a story within the image ;)

Absolutely love this image - really stood out as I scrolled down the screen. Had to stop and comment - stunning capture.

Love this shot. You know it’s a great shot when your drawn into what the subject might be thinking. Great lighting and composition. 👏🏻

Location
I took this photo at a small coffee shop called "French Press". I was outside and the model was sitting at the bar facing outside.Time
We were having a "girl's day" and I remember we had spent the morning catching up while doing our hair and makeup. It was late afternoon and the sky was light grey and filled with clouds. It looked as though it was about to rain and the sun was nowhere to be seen.Lighting
I always try to use natural lighting with my subjects. Artificial light can appear harsh and unnatural. I thought the reflection of coffee shop window would bring dimension to the photo.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 5D Mark III with a 70-200mm f4 lens.Inspiration
I'll be honest, I had seen a similar shot on Pinterest of a couple holding hands in a coffee shop window and I wanted to recreate it.Editing
I did add a few of my preset filters. One of them adds a pink/purple hue to the picture and I thought this was very feminine. I darkened the shadows to emphasize the shadows from the lack of sunshine. And I changed the gradient to make the photo appear a bit faded. In my camera bag
I have dream camera, my Canon 5D Mark III. As a university student, most of my money went to tuition, so I was lucky to have purchased it on sale. I have a 50mm f1.4 lens and a 70-200mm f4 lens. The flash I bring with me is the Canon Speedlite 430EX.Feedback
Go to a coffee shop, have your subject sit inside, walk outside, and start snapping! Play with the angles, notice what is reflecting in the window, and make sure your focusing the lens to the subject and not the window.
