Location
The photo was taken in Namibia in Epupa waterfall. Waterfall is located in the north of Namibia, on the border with Angola.Time
The photo was taken early in the morning. We spent a night in the camp 50m away from waterfall. My job was just that I wake up early enough. And I did :)Lighting
When I arrived at the location I was surprised by the light. Everything seem right. I told myself wauuu. I could only admire the scene, but luckily I did a photo. It was a strong sun, but under the tree it was quite dark. That was only cons.Equipment
I used camera Canon 7D, Sigma 10-20/3,5 lens, tripod and filter ND 64.Inspiration
If you belive me or not but nothing. I just love to photograph waterfalls. It was just luck that I was there :)Editing
Due to the strong sun, I decided to HDR technique (bracketing). Of the camera I usually choose to set steps for + - 1 and 3/4. For HDR processing I used Photoshop. I fixed contrasts and add a little blue color of the sky.In my camera bag
In my bag you can find a camera Canon 7D, spare batteries, lens Sigma 10-20 / 3.5 and lens Sigma 35 / 1.4. Tripod is my companion everywhere where I photograph water and the sunrise and sunset. Occasionally I used lens Sigma 70-200 / 2.8. When traveling I put in the bag camera Garmin VIRB.Feedback
Hard to say anything new. I think that experience do more. Shoot as many and you lay up experience. It is good to take pictures even in the most different lighting conditions. Experience will then spontaneously tell you how to set the camera, which lens you take, or what kind of filter you need, whether you use a tripod, ... This is the path to which you have come. These photos would not have had if I would not have enough experience, because you only have a minute or two to shoot a photo. And you have to react quickly.
