Location
The photo has been taken during a natural light workshop. We have been inside and used the light coming from one of the windows in the room.Time
This photo is my personal favourite taken during that workshop. It has been taken early at 10 a.m. that day.Lighting
There was some beautiful light coming from one of the windows of the workshop room. I asked the model to pose like a business lady and positioned her in order to get side light to her body and face. This should support the strong body language of her.Equipment
To take this picture I used my Sony A7 with a Sony/Zeiss 55mm 1.8. No additional euqipment has been required.Inspiration
I was really motivated during that workshop. The lighting conditions have been amazing and the interconnection between the model and me worked perfectly.Editing
Generally I do some post processing using Adobe Lightroom. I converted the photo into black and white and added some slight grain. I really like the vintage look supported by the grain. In my camera bag
Sony A7, Sony/Zeiss 55mm f1.8, Voigtländer 35mm f1.4, Tamron 70-200 f2.8, Batteries, Memory CardsFeedback
Windows provide a perfect light for portraits independent from the weather condition. This is a great opportunity to take pictures inside. With a little practice you will get really nice results.
