I took this a couple of years ago when my wife and I were cat sitting on Boston's Beacon Hill for the then seventeen-year-old and still pretty spry Scooby. He lived one more year.Time
It was a Sunday morning with the sun streaming in the windows of the top-floor apartment.Lighting
The light is all from the morning sun.Equipment
I used my iPhone 5.Inspiration
Scooby and I were getting to know each other. I loved the quiet, careful curiosity in his big eyes and wanted to try to capture it.Editing
I converted the photo to black and white and lightened it and upped the contrast to emphasize Scooby's wonderful eyes.In my camera bag
I just use my iPhone. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 7 Plus.Feedback
I'm always on the lookout for special moments to capture and try to have my iPhone handy. My best advice is to have the luck of experiencing amazing moments with your camera in your hands.
