Behind The Lens

Location

The Mt. Evans Wilderness area, Colorado, USA.

Time

3:00 pm. in early summer.

Lighting

The lighting was all natural, but it was an overcast day.

Equipment

A Canon 50D with Canon 100-400 4.5/5.6 L lens, and Manfrotto mono-pod.

Inspiration

I visit the Mt. Evans area regularly seeking wildlife and nature photos. This day I was fortunate to find this ram and four others.

Editing

Photo was shot in RAW, and so the usual post processing was done.

In my camera bag

Canon 7D; Canon 5D ll; Canon 100-400 L lens; Canon 17-40 ; Canon 70-200 f/4 L lens; Manfrotto tripod with a ball head.

Feedback

I used a slower shutter speed, while manually tracking the ram to achieve the motion effect.
