Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in my Studio in Savannah, GA

Time

Taken at 6PM

Lighting

A single Beauty Dish to the Models right and about 45 degrees above.

Equipment

Pentax K-7 DSLR with Tamron AF 17-50 f/2.8 Lens. f/8, 1/125, ISO200 and FL 50mm. Lighting was Single Promaster Monolight with 16" Beauty Dish.

Inspiration

I was working with two models doing experiments with Make Up and Lipstick. Li-li started playing with the Boa, which belonged to the other Model. I told her "wrap that around you head and let's see what we get". Got this.

Editing

Initial Post Processing was done in Portrait Professional with later touch up on Photoshop.

In my camera bag

Today, I shoot with Canon gear. I have a Canon 60D and an assortment of Canon Lenses.

Feedback

When doing creative work, don't set your mind and capture only that which you had planned. Experiment with Light, Props and Colors.
