I took this photo at the Wetland Park in Kaohsiung City! Every once in a while I visit this city park! There're always lots of birds around and they're used to people!Time
I was in the morning!I saw a bunch of wildlife photographers staring at a hole in a tree!I thought "Maybe I should have a look!"Lighting
Not much to say.....just a beautiful day in Taiwan!Equipment
I used a Canon 600d+Canon 400mm 5.6 USM and a tripod!Inspiration
My love for wildlife inspired me to this picture ! Wildlife is so incredible diverse and I try catch a glimpse of it and share it!Editing
Not much was done except a light color adjustment and cropping! In my camera bag
My Canon 600d Canon 400mm 5.6 USM Canon 100mm 2.8 USM a tripod and a few little thingsFeedback
Practice makes perfect! If you are starting out, you don't need masses of specialist kit to shoot bird portraits. A DSLR camera and a 300mm or 400mm telephoto zoom lens! And if possible a good (or very good) tripod! Use continuous autofocus and watch your background! Look for a clean and uncluttered background behind the bird! Focus on the eyes!I always try to get the eyes pin-sharp! And practice, practice and practice!
