Congratulations on winning the Peaceful Reflections Photo Challenge. You image was gorgeous. I love the compostion and the stunning colors. I could image being there and just soaking in the quiet, peaceful beauty of the location. Well done. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

You have given 2020 a positive swing that is really (nice) positive, a contribution to the Year 2020 Collection. As always, the competition will be tough, which, as an added consequence, makes a possible victory taste very sweet. Good luck and probably for the … time: Happy New Year and stay healthy in 2021!

Location
This was taken at Oxbow Bend, one of the most photogenic sites in Grand Teton National Park.Time
I took this on a cold, clear morning in September, 2020 about 9:00 AM.Lighting
The sun was up already by the time I took this, but it was an overcast day, so the light was not too harsh.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7500 with a Nikkor 50mm F/1.8D lens. This was a spur of the moment trip for me, so I did not have a tripod or external flash with me.Inspiration
I wanted an image I could use to have enlarged for a print for my wall. I was looking for something that included the mountains, water, and the fall colors. This was the perfect combination!Editing
I did a little post-processing using the Snapseed app. I did crop the image, and do a small amount of color correction. In my camera bag
Normally I have my Nikon D7500, Nikkor 50mm F/1.8D, Nikkor 80-200mm F/2.8D, Nikkor 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6D, Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8D, and a Nikkor 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6D DX walk-around lens.Feedback
This location, and all of Grand Teton National Park really, is absolutely gorgeous! You really cannot take a bad shot here. My advice is just to go and enjoy it! A day with clear skies will get you a photo here with the reflection of the mountains in the water, and of course the colors of the leaves are best in the fall.
