Behind The Lens

Location

I did this Pic at Fuerteventura near Corrajelo. I was with a few Models one week there and we really had a lot of shootings.

Time

After a long shooting day we were still on the beach to relax. Two of the models were fooling around and having fun together. the legs in the foreground are from my assistant who walked through the picture at exactly the right moment It was already evening but on Fuerteventura it gets dark late. it was on 5.7.2018 at 20:26

Lighting

i captured the Picture only with available Light. It was very smoth and warm because of the time.

Equipment

I used a •Canon Eos 1X •Sigma 150-600 Sports •Manfrotto tripod

Inspiration

I watched them both for a while, playing around with themself. I told them that I'm taking a few photos just for fun I was very far away and was at 600mm focal length Because of the great distance they quickly forgot me. Just at the right moment when my assistant walked through the picture they both looked at me and i had my Picture.

Editing

I only made a vignette in the picture

In my camera bag

in my Bag i have a Canon Eos1 X and a Eos 5 mark IV. if it goes dirty sometimes i take the Eos 5 mIII For the studio, I almost pack just fixed focal lengths For traveling i use zoom lenses. Most of my Lenses are from the professional line. Two canon 600RT Flashes with the canon radio trigger and a carbon tripod. if i travel i have two Profoto B10 or two Profoto B1 Heads with me.

Feedback

Take your time and create a basis of trust for your models. The most natural photos you will get when your models feel safe. Do not do anything that could make a model uncomfortable and be honest. But make exact announcements what you want to see in the picture you want to do.
